Birchwood Camp offers a variety of meeting facilities for day use rental. If you are searching for a special spot to hold meetings, training events, banquets, company picnics and other special events, consider holding your event at Birchwood! Some basic pricing information is listed below, but please contact our office– our staff will work with you to create the perfect reservation to fit the needs of your group! We also offer facilities for overnight rental, a variety of camping programs and our community challenge course.
Day use facilities are reserved based on availability; please select a few dates that might work for your group. We encourage you to arrange a tour of the camp facilities by contacting our camp office.
Whole Camp Rental:
Consider reserving all our facilities and outdoor spaces for your event. This option is great for large groups that need lots of space, but it also guarantees that your event will have exclusive use of Birchwood Camp while you are here. Starting at $1500 (8 hour rental).
Main Lodge:
The Lodge provides about 1500 square feet of meeting space. Tables and Chairs are provided, and some A/V equipment is available if it is requested ahead of time. Consider adding a delicious breakfast, lunch and/ or dinner to your event, and we’ll take care of all the planning and the cooking! Dining service is provided by Birchwood Camp for all groups using this space. We can provide options for those with special dietary needs or allergies if advance notice is given to our office.Various dining options are available for special events such as weddings and banquets; please call for more information.
The Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people with tables & chairs (more if tables are not needed). Starting at $300 (8 hour rental).
Fireweed Hall:
This new beautiful hall is now available for all your events. Fireweed Hall looks out over Psalm lake and is the perfect place for any event! Tables and chairs are available in this 1500 square foot space. Consider adding a delicious breakfast, lunch and/or dinner to your event. As with the lodge, dining service is provided by Birchwood Camp for all groups using this space. Meals are usually served in the Main Lodge, but arrangements may be made to have meals catered to Fireweed Hall for a small additional catering fee. Special dietary needs and allergies can be accommodated for if advance notice is given to Birchwood Camp.
Fireweed Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people with tables & chairs (more if tables are not needed). Starting at $300 (8 hour rental).
Caribou Cabin:
Caribou is ideal for smaller group meetings, and it includes two small meeting rooms. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as a small kitchenette with a microwave, coffee pots, refrigerator, oven and plenty of dishes and utensils. Guests using this cabin have the option to prepare their own meals or use Birchwood Camp’s dining service. Please make arrangements with our office if you would like your meals provided by the camp. Special dietary needs and allergies can be accommodated for if advance notice is given to Birchwood Camp.
Caribou cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people for day use. Starting at $200 (8 hour rental).Psalm Lake Waterfront & the Fire Circle:
The fire circle sits on the bank of Psalm Lake at the heart of camp and provides a breath-taking
view of the mountains. Often groups will reserve this space in conjunction with waterfront activities on our lake. Birchwood Camp provides trained, licensed lifeguards for groups wishing to use our boats or swimming area. This is a great activity for birthday parties, company picnics or outings, and for general fun and fellowship. There is a nominal hourly fee for the lifeguard(s). We require a minimum ratio of one life guard per 30 participants. If swimming and boating are taking place at the same time, a separate lifeguard is required for each area. Outdoor Chapel:
This quaint chapel sits on our lake front and is one of the most beautiful spots on Camp. A short walk down the shores of Psalm Lake will take you to the chapel, where you will gaze at the Chugach Mountains– beautiful in every season. Please call us if you are interested in using this chapel for a special service or ceremony.
Picnic Shelter:
This covered shelter has a wood floor, benches and tables, and a wood stove. This is a great location for picnics, birthday parties or any time of outdoor gatherings. The shelter is available year round but is especially nice during warmer weather.
The picnic shelter can comfortable accommodate up to 50 people.
