The campers will be guided by experienced staff, who are all First-Aid/ CPR certified, including one staffer who  is a Wilderness First Responder (WFR). This staffer has specialized training in treating injuries in the backcountry.   Furthermore, the Birchwood  staff will teach the campers backcountry emergency procedures. The Birchwood staff will also carry a satellite communicator, which provides daily updates and can be used in emergencies.

This camp is the perfect opportunity for a camper to experience God through intentional Christian community  and the beautiful Alaskan backcountry. 

This is a perfect opportunity for campers to improve their outdoor skills and enjoy the beautiful setting that Alaska offers. This camp has limited space – register early!
