Discounts:
Early Bird Discount: Our early bird discount is 10% off the price of camp. Early Bird deadline is May 1! When you register online, the Early Bird price is already calculated.
Bring-a-Friend Discount: With our Bring-a-Friend Discount incentive, you will receive $25.00** off the price of your camp for each *new camper that you or your child bring to camp. This is our way of thanking you for helping us make camp even better by bringing along a friend! Simply list your friend’s name in the referral area of your camp registration. Camp staff will apply the discount after your friend registers for camp.
* New campers are defined as those who have not been to any Birchwood Camp event in the past three years.
**Discounts cannot exceed the cost of your registration fee.
Scholarships and other payment options:
Set up a payment plan. Our online registration system allows you to spread out payments over several months. The earlier you register the more payment options will be available to you. We can also create a a custom payment plan for your family; contact us if you are interested.
Talk to your church. Many churches sponsor scholarship funds so that children and youth in their congregations can attend camp. Be sure to ask early, as many churches have limited scholarship resources.
Download and complete this paper application for financial assistance from the Birchwood Camp Scholarship Fund, and send it to our camp office. If you’ve already registered for camp, you can also complete an online version of this form when you log in to your Birchwood Camp account.
Check out the Kelsey-Shepard Scholarship opportunity for outstanding young United Methodist leaders. This $200 scholarship is awarded yearly by the Alaska United Methodist Conference. Nomination forms are due by April 30 each year.
