Birchwood Camp offers a variety of meeting facilities for day use rental. If you are searching for a special spot to hold meetings, training events, banquets, company picnics and other special events, consider holding your event at Birchwood! Some rental options are listed below.

We also offer facilities for overnight rentals, a variety of camping programs, and team-building experiences on our challenge course.

Main Camp Rental

Consider reserving all our facilities and outdoor spaces for your event. This option is great for large groups that need plenty of space.  Meal service can be added if desired. Ask about additional discounts for schools and UMC groups.

• Regular rate: $3500 for the day
• Maximum of 200 people
• Please plan for set up and clean up time within this rental period

Main Lodge

The Lodge provides about 1500 square feet of meeting space. Tables and Chairs are provided, and some A/V equipment is available if it is requested in advance. Dining service is provided by Birchwood Camp for all groups using this space. The Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people with tables & chairs (more if tables are not needed).

• Regular rate: $550 (4 hour rental), $700 (8 hour rental) or $900(12 hour rental)
• Includes up to 50 Guests, use of bath house, ball fields, trails, sledding hill. Each additional guest $15 per day.

Fireweed Hall

Both levels of beautiful Fireweed Hall are now available for your use, providing a total of 2800 square feet of multi purpose meeting space. Upper Fireweed Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people with tables & chairs (more if tables are not needed). Lower Fireweed Hall is an excellent classroom or break-out space that can be added to your day rental for an additional fee. Tables and Chairs are provided, and some A/V equipment is available if it is requested in advance. Dining service can be added for groups using this space (see below for rates).

• Regular rate: $550 (4 hour rental), $700 (8 hour rental) or $900 (12 hour rental).
• Add Lower Fireweed Hall to an Upper Fireweed rental for: $275 (4 hour rental), $350 (8 hour rental), or $500 (12 hour rental).
• Includes up to 50 Guests, use of bath house, ball fields, trails, sledding hill. Each additional guest $15 per day.

Caribou Cabin

Caribou is ideal for smaller group meetings, and it includes two small meeting rooms. Tables and chairs are provided, as well as a small kitchenette with a microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator, oven, stove, and plenty of dishes & utensils. Guests using this cabin have the option to prepare their own meals or use Birchwood Camp’s dining service (see below for info). Caribou Cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people for day use.

• Regular rate: $600 (12 hour rental), $450 (8 hour rental), or $375 (4 hour rental)
• $350 refundable cleaning fee for use of Caribou kitchen.

Lake Waterfront & Fire Circle

The fire circle sits on the bank of Psalm Lake at the heart of camp and provides a breath-taking view of the mountains. Often groups will reserve this space in conjunction with waterfront activities on our lake. Birchwood Camp provides trained, certified lifeguards for groups wishing to use our boats, stand up paddle (SUP) boards or swimming area. This is a great activity for birthday parties, company picnics, group building, and for general fun. There is a nominal hourly fee for the lifeguard(s). We require a minimum ratio of one life guard per 30 participants for each activity reserved (i.e. if swimming and boating are taking place at the same time, a separate lifeguard is required for each activity).

The waterfront/ fire circle can be rented individually or can be combined with rental of an indoor space. For rates of the Waterfront please contact us.

• $75 for the area if the group is renting the lodge, fireweed or caribou for all or part of the day
• $250 for the area if the group is not renting any other space for the day- This rate includes up to 100 guests

Outdoor Chapel

This quaint chapel sits on our lake front and is one of the most beautiful spots on Camp. A short walk down the shores of Psalm Lake will take you to the chapel, where you will gaze at the Chugach Mountains– beautiful in every season. Please contact us if you are interested in using this chapel for a special service or ceremony.

The chapel has several benches which seat approximately 50 -70 people. The outdoor chapel can be rented individually or can be combined with rental of an indoor space. Please call or email  for rates.
